What is Embroidery?

Embroidery or monogramming is an applied art using thread. The quality of embroidery depends on the quality of the artist who creates the stitch file, the embroidery technicians and the quality of equipment; we have the finest of all three. Because of the quality of our work, we embroider apparel for Porsche, Audi, Lamborghini, and many other luxury brands. We also applique (and hand-sew) Flyers jerseys and Sixers jerseys.

Some years ago, Ampro was a key printer for Abercrombie & Fitch (running 2 shifts of printing 52 weeks a year) when they started to branch out to utilize our embroidery talents. They were providing us with some really challenging applique designs. We embraced the challenges and our success ensured their own. Then they approached us about embroidering a small moose on 80,000 cashmere sweaters. In other words, they wanted us to enhance their very expensive cashmere with an inexpensive stitched moose.
Adding a $2 dollar moose embroidery to 80,000 sweaters seemed not worth the risk, but they persisted, and eventually we did just that. Our teams successfully completed the order to A&F’s delight.
